All dogs should come with the doggie equivalent of a busy signal.
She's looking off into space...
He's marking just one more blade of grass...
He has a toy under the tree - if he leaves it will be defenseless...
...eating a bug...licking a leaf...barking at nothing...applying a stink...
LOOK there's an earthworm everyone must smell.
So much to do...
They lead busy, active lives and they really would like to make
time for you, but well, you know how it is…
Ungrateful, stubborn willful beasts.
They'll make you stand at the door, freezing, while they sniff their own
behinds for the millionth time.
Look at her. She's standing on the picnic table again, staring off into
space.
What can she be thinking?
EMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Emma, staring off into space, is thinking…
They always want something when it's inconvenient for you. They constantly
demand attention and crave affection. It's so hard to have a life of your
own. Still, they are cute and cuddly…Plus those opposable thumbs make them
useful for opening cans, removing burrs and scratching behind the ears.
On the downside, their senses of smell and hearing are remedial. You have
to lead them to everything. They actually have to be close enough to see
an object before they know it's there. How they survived in the wild is
beyond me. It's a lot of responsibility caring for them. They are so naked
and helpless. I wish I were free and not tied down with a family…Keeping
people is not easy. They are so NEEDY. Maybe I should just get some goldfish…
